DPPM outlined the task to manage all research activities and community service performed lecturers and
Merger in order to align with the long-term education strategy contained in the Higher Education Long Term Strategy (HELTS) 2003-2010, who formulated the three basic policies of the development of higher education; national competitiveness, autonomy and decentralization, and health organizations. Thus the college is expected to be a moral force that can shape the character and culture of high integrity, fostering a democratic society, and becomes a source of knowledge, and the establishment of human resources responsive to community needs. Tri Dharma refers to the Universities, the Research and Corporate Citizenship is a very strategic role in the era of high competition (hyper-competitive) today. Higher Education as an institution of higher education are able to develop an atmosphere charged, ethics, and culture of research-based academic and Corporate Citizenship. Therefore, all components of the Directorate of Research and Community Services UMM has double mission of the academic mission and preaching. Therefore, the gait and dynamic programs and activities consistent with the preservation, growth, and development IPTEKS. To realize these efforts carried out through an institution's performance, thereby increasing the confidence, image, and the appreciation of society, especially the service users at the Directorate of Research and Community Services University of Muhammadiyah Malang.
