The Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) is the main implementer of the Tri Dharma of higher education, namely research and community service activities.
DPPM is an agent for the development and advancement of science and technology through research and community service. Therefore, DPPM strives to be a quality, independent, professional, and innovative institution.
To support its tasks and functions. DPPM coordinates with various study centers at the university level and at the faculty / study program level. Thus, there is a synchronization of research directions and community service activities held in various units at UMM.
DPPM publishes and develops the results of research and community service through various media, especially to the community outside. The Research and Community Service Information System developed by DPPM is a medium for lecturers to develop and disseminate the results of research and community service.
DPPM also provides valuable information for government agencies, industry, professional organizations, researchers, and the user community as an effort to build networks, science and business chains, chains of research activities, production and development of research results of the academic community.
