UMM encourages lecturers to collaborate in the field of research, both with domestic and foreign researchers. In particular, for doctors with the positions of Associate Professor and Professor, collaboration with external parties is a condition for obtaining internal funding.
At this time, research collaboration is a necessity, especially if you want the research results to be of high quality, to be published in good journals, and to receive recognition from the Ministry of Research and Technology. It is hoped that research collaboration can be carried out by all lecturers.
Research collaboration can be carried out with researchers who have equality in terms of academic rank, Google Scholar index, scientific reputation and expertise, and research experience. It is better if lecturers can collaborate with parties who have better research experience. In this way, UMM lecturers can learn research procedures and publish the results.
Various forms of collaboration in research, starting from reviewing proposals - publication manuscripts, sharing research funding, involvement in data collection/testing.
As proof that the lecturer who is proposing is collaborating with external parties, attached to the proposal is a statement/willingness letter as a research collaboration partner in question which is known to the leader/superior in charge of research activities. The format for the letter of willingness can be obtained at DPPM.
As previously announced, for the first batch, proposals will be submitted to the DPPM no later than June 15 2023. After that, all submitted proposals will be reviewed double blindly by reviewers appointed by the DPPM.
