in Indonesia.

In order to improve the quality of scientific newsletter sustainability, Directorate General of Higher Education holds periodical accreditation (twice a year) toward scientific newsletters which published by intitution, scientific board, and profession association in Indonesia.

For scientific newsletters which have not been accredited or the validity period of accreditation is six months left or nearly end, are expected to propose again to get accreditation. The received proposal will be evacuated in line with the applicable provision.

The accreditation process of Scientific newsletter refers to the regulation of Ministry of National Education No. 22 2011 about Scientific Newsletters and instrument as well as being stated in the regulation of General Director of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education No. 49/DIKTI/Kep/2011 about the Accreditation Guidance of Scientific Newsletter can be seen at website: http://dikti.go.id.

Regarding to the matter, respectfully it is conveyed the things related to the procedure of proposing accreditation of scientific newsletter, as follow:
1. Submit complete format of accreditation proposal (form 1) and curriculum vitae of 5 editiroal council (form 2), for 3 sets;
2. Submit the complete form of Accreditation assessment of Scientific Newsletter which is the self-evaluation (form 3), for 3 sets;
3. Submit 6 newest publications, each of it is 3 copies, with the softcopy publication with Pdf format in a compact disk (CD);
4. Submit documents or correspondency evidence of the involvement of bebestari partnership and the active involvement of the bebestari partners in the form of comment on the reviewed paper; 
5. Enclose the biodata of the bebestari partnerts to consider their qualification;
6. Enclose registration receipt ISSN from PDII-LIPI;
7. Besides, it's published in print (conventional) for the proposed scientific newsletter have to have electronic version through information and communication technology networking, by stating the website;
8. The deadline of proposal which is received by DP2M for period I at latest on April 1 2013 and Period II on August 30 2013;
9. The proposal is signed by the Chief of Editorial Board of Scientific Newsletter to the General Director of Higher Education u.p Director of Research and Service the Community;

11. For the scientific newsletter which have fulfilled the requirements, the Director of Research and Service the Community will invite one member of editorial board to be participated in seminar of scientific newsletter management (time will be scheduled later);
12. The announcement of accreditation result is absolute, and will be announced directly through letter and website http://dikti.go.id
13. The proposal document will not be given back and belong the property of Directorate of Research and Service the Community for archival purposes. For the canceled or resigned scientific newsletter can take the document at most two weeks after the seminar.
